Civic intelligence for Nigeria
TrackMy Leader helps Nigerians make informed civic decisions. We document leaders and government performance using verified, source-linked records never opinions, never rankings.
Build a transparent, public record of who governs Nigeria, what they have done in office, and what the evidence says so citizens, media, and researchers can act on facts, not rumours.
We do not endorse parties or candidates. Every leader is documented using the same template, the same fields, and the same evidence standard, regardless of office or affiliation.
We publish facts that can be traced to a primary or reputable secondary source. Where the record is incomplete, we say so plainly rather than fill the gap with speculation.
What the record shows so far
A snapshot of the patterns emerging across the leaders, offices, and sources documented on TrackMy Leader.
Past and present governors, presidents, ministers, and legislators profiled using a single evidence template.
Every published fact is tied to a primary or reputable secondary source, with the original excerpt preserved.
Extracted records carry confidence scores and link back to the source document section they came from.
Figures reflect the current state of the public record on this platform and are updated as new verified records are published.
A consistent profile for every leader
Every profile follows the same structure so leaders can be compared on the things that actually matter.
Name, date and place of birth, education, and career history sourced from public records.
Every office held, with start and end dates, jurisdiction, and the appointing authority.
Documented deliverables and projects associated with a leader's tenure in office.
Audit findings, court matters, and accountability records with the originating source.
Declared assets, public loans, and debt records tied to the leader's office where available.
Electoral history, results, and recorded votes on major bills and motions.
How a record gets published
Every fact passes through the same four-stage pipeline before it appears on a public profile.
- 01Collect
We gather records from official gazettes, INEC results, court rulings, audit reports, and reputable news archives.
- 02Extract
Structured fields are extracted from source documents. Every value is tagged with the document, section, and excerpt it came from.
- 03Verify
An editor reviews each field against the source, assigns a confidence score, and flags anything ambiguous for follow-up.
- 04Publish
Records go live with a visible source citation. Updates are logged so the public record stays auditable over time.
TrackMy Leader is independent. We accept no funding from political parties, candidates, or government bodies. Editorial decisions are made by the publishing team alone.
If you spot a factual error, missing source, or outdated record, send us a correction. We review every submission, update the record where warranted, and log what changed.
Help us make the record more complete
Contribute a source, flag a missing leader, or submit a correction. Every contribution is reviewed against our evidence standard before it goes live.
